Is there an admission charge for the festival?
The festival is a free event! Bring your family and friends and enjoy music, dancing, food, and activities!
Admission is charged for the Trail of Scares and mobile escape rooms.
Donations to support CAC scholarships, awards, and programs are graciously accepted.
Should I come in costume?
Costumes are definitely encouraged (but not required)!
My child gets scared easily. Will the festival be scary?
The family-friendly portion of the festival, held on the blacktop/playground area of the Cranbury School, is designed to be scare-free. There may be a few friendly characters (like the Wolfman) seated at a table to sign autographs, but the scares are confined to the trail.
Will the escape rooms be scary?
Both escape rooms are designed to be family friendly.
Is the "Trail of Scares" scary?
The trail is very dark and is designed to be a bit scary! Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone who walks the trail must sign a waiver, and children under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers can be downloaded here, and brought to the festival signed.
Will food be available?
Yes, a variety of foods will be available for purchase. Seating will also be available.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the Cranbury School parking lot, or on Main Street or adjacent streets. For the safety of festival guests, no travel will be permitted on West Property Road.
How can I get involved?
Volunteers are welcome to help in a variety of capacities. Please contact us for more information. Community service hours are available.
